Stacking the Shelves

Yaaay!! Time for stacking the shelves hosted by Tynga.
And I got something to show you guys. It's only one book, but I am totally happy with it.
I won't show you a photo of it, because my camera isn't working so good anymore, but I show you a picture from internet. But it doesn't make it any less awesome :D

The hardcover. Because I think that I will love this serie and than I can buy the 3th book as soon as it is published :D Am I smart or am I smart?

Something Strange and Deadly (Something Strange and Deadly, #1)

And today I was checking our locale bookstore but it was closed :( They are making a re-start with a different name and they will open next weekend. Yaaay!!
When I saw this store was closed I went to the second hand store around the corner and they where open but they didn't got any books I wanted to read. So that's why I got only one book this week. But I think a really great book, at least I hope so :D

Did you guys got some great books this week?
Send me a message with your blog and I will go to your blog to see what you got.

Have a great weekend!!!

It's Friday! And it's beautiful outside, so that's where I go after this post. :D
But now it is time for Feature and Follow Friday. This meme is hosted by Parajunkee and Alison can read and it's al about making new friends :D

This week we don't get a quistion but we should show a picture.

Snap it Time! A picture is worth a thousand words. Anything and anything. Just give us a pic.

This picture is made in 2012 but I really love the beach. It was a very short vacation with a good friend of mine at Noordwijk at Sea. That is in the Netherlands. I love the beach because you can become one with your self again. It's so peaceful.

It's not such a beautiful picture as some of you guys post in this meme. But it was a beautiful day for me with my best friend so I think that is more important.

I hope you al got a great friday, enjoy it!!

WoW

Hi Guys.

It's a long time ago that I participated in this meme. Waiting on Wednesday hosted by Breaking the Spine
But I thought: Let's give it a try again :D So I did and there are a lot of awesome books waiting to be published. One of my favorites:

Totally forgot about this one: City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare. The sixth book in the Mortal Instruments serie. I can't wait to read it.

City of Heavenly Fire (The Mortal Instruments, #6)Published May 27th

I am coming.

Darkness returns to the Shadowhunter world. As their society falls apart around them, Clary, Jace, Simon and their friends must band together to fight the greatest evil the Nephilim have ever faced: Clary’s own brother. Nothing in the world can defeat him — must they journey to another world to find the chance? Lives will be lost, love sacrificed, and the whole world changed in the sixth and last installment of the Mortal Instruments series!

What is your book, you can't wait to read?
I really like to know :D

Have a great Wednesday and don't forget about my giveaway.

Top Ten Tuesday

Yaaay! It's already time for my fav meme. Hosted by the broke and the bookish. Thank you guys, for hosting such a great meme.

This weeks top 10:

What's on your bookish bucket list??

And my answer is: What not?

 * My own library in my house, something like this?

With my favorite books? What a dream, I don't think it is realistic. But you know, a girl should have her dreams. :D

* Work in a bookstore, yes, I think that would be awesome and a dream that could be realstic.

* Own al the books on my to read list. Sigh....that would take a lot of money.

* Ones in my life I really want to go to BEA. I am sooo jealous of you guys who live in the USA.
In the Netherlands we got the boekenfestijn, but this is very small and most of the time you got only older books, but for a great price. So that is great.

* I would love to get 500 followers or more. That is one of the things on my list as wel.

And I think that this would be my list, it is not a top 10 but I hope this is also okay.

Have a great tuesday everyone and if you want to show me your top 10, leave me a message with your link and I will take a visit to your blog.

Alison Can Read Feature & Follow

Yaaay!! It is already Friday, sooo time for another Feature and Follow Friday. This meme is hosted by Parajunkee and Alison can read. This meme is al about making new book blogger friends al around the world. So if you like to be my follower, just let me know and I will be your follower as well.
Now time for this weeks quistion:

Question of the Week: How have your reading habits changed in the past few years? Did you get interested in a new genre? Do you read more? Less? Why do you think your habits changed, if they did.

In the last couple of years I read more genres then only the fantasy and YA. I read urban fantasy, adult, dystophia and more genres. But I stick with fantasy. That is my numbre 1 genre.
I also read more, but that was only when I noticed that I could buy books for a good price at the bookdepository. If I didn't, I wouldn't read as many books as I do now.

What about you?

Have a nice friday. And btw: Happy Spring!!

Don't forget this awesome bloghop. You can win a book of your choice up to 10 euro Booking into spring

Top Ten Tuesday

It's time for Top 10 Tuesday again!! Yeeey!! :D
This meme is hosted by the broke and the bookish and this weeks top10 would be:

Top 10 books on our spring 2014 to read list.

This isn't easy for me but I try to make a top 10.

Sweet Reckoning (The Sweet Trilogy, #3)

1 The Sweet Reckoning by Wendy Higgins this is part 3 in the Sweet Trilogy. And I didn't read the first two, so I think I buy them al together when this one is published.

Faking Normal

This book sounds so awesome and I just won this one so I wil very soon start with this book.

Strange and Ever After (Something Strange and Deadly, #3)

3. Strange and ever after by Susan Dennard this book is also a 3 book in a serie and I don't have the first two books but ass wel ass the first book in my top 10, I will buy this one together with the first books in this serie because I think it would be an awesome serie to read and I want to read it only when the serie is complete, so I don't have to wait a year to read the next one.

City of Heavenly Fire (The Mortal Instruments, #6)

Of course this one is also in my top 10. Hello?? Do I say more? I think everyone who started reading this serie got this one at his or her to read list.

Cress (The Lunar Chronicles, #3)

5. Cress by Marissa Meyer  again the 3th in a serie and I also didn't read the first two. But I love to. I heard so many good things about this serie.

Nearly Gone

6. Nearly Gone by Elle Cosimano sounds like a really good book. And I think it is different then the books I normally read. But I think I would like to read other genres.

Dorothy Must Die (Dorothy Must Die, #1)

7.  Dorothy most die by Danielle Paige this book sounds sooo awesome.

Of Breakable Things

8. Of breakable things by A. Lynden Rolland Only to read about this book. Wooow. I really should read it. I think it is a really emotional book. And I love those books.

Hexed (Hexed, #1)

Sounds like a really awesome first book in a serie.

Daughter of Chaos (Red Magic, #1)

Yes, I did it. I finished my top 10 in a few minutes. I didn't thought I would finish it so soon.
What do you think about my top 10. And how about yours? Want to share it with me?

Have a great tuesday!!

Stacking the Shelves

Stacking the shelves is hosted by Tynga and it is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks.

This week was a great week for my self. I got a book I ordered at the bookdepository, that was Fury's Kiss by Karen Chance. The second book I bought last wednesday at a secondhand store, or, een kringloop winkel, that's what we call it in the netherlands. It is the book thief by Markus Zusak, and I wanted this book for a while but I forgot to look for it at booksites. And just last wednesday I found it for 1,95 Euro and I couldn't let it stay there.

I also got a review requist! How awesome is that! I almost never get any. But maybe that is because I am not really good with my English and make only short reviews. But this author doens't mind that. So she gave me an e-copy of Oracle of Philadelphia by Elizabeth Corrigan.

Oracle of Philadelphia (Earthbound Angels, #1)

And last but not least: the giveaway I won at Carina's blog. I was a little bit enthousiastic so see here the pictures I make:

So I can tell my week was really awesome. Did you got some great books this week?
Have a great weekend!

Time for Feature and Follow Friday. This meme is hosted by Parajunkee and Alison can read. And this time the quistion is about spring. And I can tell you spring has begun here. But this weekend it's going to be less spring. And that for the weekend :(

Question of the Week: Spring is in the air! Show off your favorite outdoors reading spot. If you don’t go outside...well where else do you read that isn’t inside your house? We want pics!

My favorite outdoor reading spot at this moment is my balcony.
But I guess I won't be sitting at my balcony this weekend, because it is going to be cold :(

Yes, this picture is taking from inside my house. LOL.

What is your favorite outdoor reading spot?
Want to show it to me?

Have a nice friday!!

Alison Can Read Feature & Follow

Time for my favorite meme at Friday!! Feature and Follow Friday. This meme is hosted by Alison can read and Parajunkee.

This meme is al about finding new followers and friends in blogland :D

Question of the Week:
Recommend some of your favorite back-list books - books that are at least a few years old (I’m thinking 5-10 years old rather than classics)

Soulless (Parasol Protectorate, #1)
The first book of the Parasol Protectorate is a fantasic book. I think the serie was just awesome.

Moon Called (Mercy Thompson, #1)
One of my favorite series ever!! And it isn't finished. But if you never read one of these books. You really should start with it soon. It is sooo awesome.

The Black Jewels Trilogy: Daughter of the Blood, Heir to the Shadows, Queen of the Darkness (The Black Jewels, #1-3)
One of my nieces just borrowed me this serie. In the beginning it was difficult to read it because I never read such fantasy before. But I am glad I finished it. This was one fantastic serie.

Night Life (Nocturne City, #1)
And here is another one of my favorits. It's such a great serie.

It's difficult to find books older then 5 years that I read.
So I think this is it. Hope you read some of them, because they are really good.

Have a nice friday!!

Whoohoo! Already Tuesday! Did you guys party now that it is Carnaval? I am just now at my home after 2 days of party-ing :D It was fun, especially the first day, Sunday. I even dancend on a bartop. (I think there are some pictures made of me, omg :O) Without drinking any alcohol at that moment ;) I have a lot of fun the last 2 days but there is no energy left in me.  So the best thing I can do after finishing this post is reading a book lying on my couch.

Masque of the Red Death (Masque of the Red Death, #1)
As wel as numbre 6 on my to buy, to read list forever...

Sweet Evil (The Sweet Trilogy, #1)
Don't know what to say anymore...

Burn Bright (Night Creatures, #1)
And this is not all ofcourse. Because I was just looking at my to read list at goodreads and it's a shame what I didn't read. :(
