WoW

The last couple of weeks I got more time to do things as a blogger so I like to participate more in weekly memes. Just Like this one, WoW:

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

The Undead Pool (The Hollows, #12)

"Witch and day-walking demon Rachel Morgan has managed to save the demonic ever after from shrinking, but at a high cost. Now strange magic is attacking Cincinnati and the Hollows, causing spells to backfire or go horribly wrong, and the truce between the races, between Inderlander and human, is shattering.

Rachel must stop the occurrences before the undead vampire masters who keep the rest of the undead under control are lost and it becomes all-out supernatural war. However, the only way to do so is through the ancient elven wild magic, which carries its own perils."

I know this book is just yesterday published, but that is only the hardcover and not the paperback. And I know I am dying to read this one, I will wait patiently till the paperback is published. Oooh what am I doing to my self.

What's your book you are waiting for?
Have a nice wednesday!!

TTT Rewind

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by the Broke and the Bookish. This week it is a rewind. You can choose a top ten from the past you want to talk about. So my top ten would be:

Top 10 Favorite book quotes. Not in a special order.

Entice (Need, #3)

“You know, life fractures us all into little pieces. It harms us, but it's how we glue those fractures back together that make us stronger.”
Carrie Jones Entice

“Nobody is perfect, though. We all want everyone to think we are, but perfection is some crazy mythical state that we can never achieve. It is a goal beyond our grasp, always shifting and changing and taunting us, because it knows...it knows we can never reach it.”

Clockwork Angel (The Infernal Devices, #1)

“One must always be careful of books," said Tessa, "and what is inside them, for words have the power to change us.”

First Grave on the Right (Charley Davidson, #1)

“That took balls."
"Please," I said with a snort, "that took ovaries. Of which I have two.”

“My fore-parts, as you so ineloquently put it, have names.”
I pointed to my right breast. “This is Danger.” Then my left. “And this is Will Robinson. I would appreciate it if you addressed them accordingly.”
After a long pause in which he took the time to blink several times, he asked, “You named your breasts?”
I turned my back to him with a shrug. “I named my ovaries, too, but they don’t get out as much.”

Ever After (The Hollows, #11)

“I want…” he said, then hesitated, taking a breath of air and lifting his chin. “I want one pure thing in my life,” he said loudly, his voice ringing in the red-tinted air. “I want one thing I can point to and say, ‘That is good, and it’s a part of me.”

Fifth Grave Past the Light (Charley Davidson, #5)

“My phone pinged. It was a text from Cookie.
I'm not good at cocking guns.
Really? Did she not know me at all?
I texted her back.
You can do this. Learn the cock, Cookie.
Know the cock.
Be the cock.”

“How would you like your eggs?"
I tried. I really did. But I glanced at his crotch and it came out anyway. "Fertilized?”

Soulless (Parasol Protectorate, #1)

“How ghastly for her, people actually thinking, with their brains, and right next door. Oh, the travesty of it all.”

Delirium (Delirium, #1)

“You can't be happy unless you're unhappy sometimes".”

This was my top 10 of this week. I hope you enjoyed it.

STS

Time to show you  my new books! And I will do that with STS. This meme is hosted by Tynga. Here we post our new books, books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks.

The first book Ever After by Kim Harrison I did buy some weeks ago at bookdepository and it came with the mail this week. I love the Hollows and if you don't know this serie and you are a big fan of fantasy book, you really should read it. At the moment it is my favorite serie. The next book,  Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman I found in a dumpstore in the netherlands you call it de kringloopwinkel. I really don't know if it is a good story but it was 1 euro so I didn't want this book to stay there.
And the next 3 books are the last 3 in the serie Caster Chronicles. Let me tell you that there is a story about why I bought these books. In the Netherlands we got a few bookstores, not as many as we did, and that is a real shame :( And Polare is one of the big stores, but they where a few weeks closed because of an faillissement. But last week they where opened again and I hope they stay open.
When I hear they were open again, I couldn't wait to buy some books, also to support them. If everyone will do this, hopefully these stores stay open. Because what is not better than buy your books in a physical store where you can stay hours, and hours, and hours. :D So that was part of the reason why I bought these books, and because I want to read them. The first in this serie wasn't there so I bought it yesterday on ebay. Hopefully I got it soon so I can read this serie .

Did you got some great books this week? I hope you did :D

Have a nice weekend!

Quistion for this week:

What was the last book that made you cry?

That's an easy one for me. Because I can feel the tears almost again when I think about it. It was Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins. And everyone who read this book can understand why I did cry, I think, or I am just a crybaby. LOL.

Mockingjay (The Hunger Games, #3)

What was the last book that make you cry?

Have a nice friday!!

I can tell you that Patricia Briggs is one of my favorite authors so when I finished the serie I am reading right now I will start with this one.
