Memorable Monday 4

It's monday again. And I have one last day weekend! Tomorrow I should go to work :( After a long weekend of fun. But that's always the problem. A weekend is to short. LOL. And did you al got a fantastic easter weekend? I hope you did :D

And now it is time for a new Memorable Monday. This meme is hosted by Escape in a book and every monday you let everyone see what is your favorite quite of that week.

This week I choose this one:

“You can't be happy unless you're unhappy sometimes"

It's a quote from the book Delirium.

I think it is a beautiful quote and when you are unhappy you should be thinking of this quote.

Have a nice day everyone!

  1. Hey Mariska :) My weekend was unbelievably awesome. Hope yours was, too. And I really know what you mean when you're talking about not wanting to go to work tomorrow. I'm going to have uni from 10 o'clock and I really just don't wanna. I wanna stay in my bed and sleep and then have awesome breakfast and have fun all day. But well... reality is different:D

This quote, by the way, is AMAZING! I just read that book recently and this was one of the quotes that I loved, too. It is just so true. Bittersweet, but true. If we aren't unhappy every now and then, we probably cannot appreciate happiness as much as we should do.

By the way, Mari just posted her MM and Patricia linked hers, too. They're both amazing, take a look at it.

And have a wonderful week :)

  2. Hey there! Oh, I still have to read Delirium. This quote makes me want to do that much sooner.

This quote reminds me of a quote that says something like "Your joy can only fill you as much as your sorrow has carved you."

  3. Hi Mariska :)

I just love that quote and I think Delirium is an AWESOME book! I can't wait for the third book in this trilogy and now I'm also pining for Lauren's adult novel(still two years away I believe).

  4. Love your quote:) Never read this book, but have read Before I fall of Lauren Oliver.
