Finished series

Hi everyone.

Do you hate it just like me when you read a book and you would wait another year for the next in the serie to get published?
Hate is not the good word but I really don't like it. That's why sometimes I don't even start with the serie until it is finished.
And thats why I also got a quistion for you.
I really want to read a great and awesome fantasy serie (or an awesome stand alone) that is already finished. So that I don't have to wait a long time to read the next. Hope you got some great ideas for me :D

I can give you a list with series I read and are finished (the most of you have read them but I hope that I can help you guys who didn't read some of these):

- Nocturne City by Caitlin Kittredge (adult)
- Parasol Protectorate by Gail Carriger (adult)
- Immortal Beloved by Cate Tiernan (adult)
- Revenants by Amy Plum (YA)
- Soul Screamers by Rachel Vincent (YA)
- Need by Carrie Jones (YA)
- Repossession by Sam Hawksmoor (YA)
- Twilight by Stephenie Meyer (YA)
- Fallen by Lauren Kate (YA)
- Blue Bloods by Melissa de la Cruz (YA)
- The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare (YA)

Wooow, I thought that this list would be longer. So sorry if you read them al.

Giveaway Working it out

Author Rachael Renee Anderson

Rachael Anderson is the author of four books: Divinely Designed, Luck of the Draw, Minor Adjustments, and The Reluctant Bachelorette. She's the mother of four and is pretty good at breaking up fights, or at least sending guilty parties to their rooms. She can't sing, doesn't dance, and despises tragedies. But she recently figured out how yeast works and can now make homemade bread, which she is really good at eating.

Working It Out

A chance encounter . . .

Grace Warren's life is safe and predictable—exactly the way she likes it. But when she gets roped into going to an auction to help out a friend, everything changes. She meets Seth Tuttle—a guy who unexpectedly kisses her then disappears, leaving her flustered and upset. If she never sees him again, it will be too soon.

A chance for love . . .

Weeks later, when Seth limps into Grace's rehab clinic post surgery, she immediately recognizes him. Unfortunately, he's every bit as frustrating and annoying as she remembered. Yet there's something about him that makes her second-guess her carefully placed boundaries even though he's everything she's sure she doesn't want in a man. But maybe Seth is exactly what Grace has needed all along—assuming she's willing to risk safe and predictable for a chance at love.

FF

Another Feature and Follow Friday. Love this meme. Its hosted by Paranjunky and Alison can Read. And this weeks quistion is:

Q: Is there a song that reminds you of a book? Or vice versa? What is the song & the book?

A: I think in my case it isn't a song but an artist that reminds me of heroic woman in fantasy books. Like Mercy Thompson, Charly Davidson and more of course. I think I love the music of p!nk or paramore in it. If there is some sort of music that reminds me of a book. Because one song is difficult to tell.

Top Ten Tuesday #1

Hi everyone,

A couple of you are participating on this meme Top Ten Tuesday. And because I am not at my work today I thought that I also want to join on this meme.
It sounds really fun and I have also something to post on a Tuesday ;)

This week:
Top Ten Tuesday REWIND -- pick a past topic you missed or one you want to revisit!
Hmm...let me think about that...

TOP TEN FAVORITE BOOK QUOTES

*****

1.(a shared first place) “My fore-parts, as you so ineloquently put it, have names." I pointed to my right breast. "This is Danger." Then my left. "And this is Will Robinson. I would appreciate it if you addressed them accordingly.”
Darynda Jones, First Grave on the Right
&
“After a long pause in which he took the time to blink several times, he asked, "You named your breasts?"

I turned my back to him with a shrug. "I named my ovaries, too, but they don't get out as much.”
Darynda Jones, First Grave on the Right

2. “You know, life fractures us all into little pieces. It harms us, but it's how we glue those fractures back together that make us stronger.”
Carrie Jones, Entice

3. “Why is it that all cars are women?" he asked. "Because they're fussy and demanding," answered Zee.
"Because if they were men, they'd sit around and complain instead of getting the job done," I told him.”
Patricia Briggs, Silver Borne

4. “How ghastly for her, people actually thinking, with their brains, and right next door. Oh, the travesty of it all.”
Gail Carriger, Soulless

5. “Make it quick," I said when I picked up.
"Okay. Two men from the FBI are here." Cookie said. Quickly.
Crap. "Men in black are at the office?"
"Well, yes, but they're actually in more of a navy."
Crapola. I so don't have time for men. In any color. "Okay, two questions. Do they look mad, and are they hot?"
After a long, long, pause, Cookie said, "One, not really. Two, no comment at this time. And three, you're on speakerphone."
After another long, long pause, I said, "Okie dokie then. Be there in a jiff.”
Darynda Jones, Second Grave on the Left (that could be totally me)

6. “You might want to lie down," Magnus advised. "I find that it helps when the crushing sense of horrible realization sets in.”
Cassandra Clare, City of Ashes

7 “Curran looked back at me. "Why is it you always attract creeps?"

"You tell me." Ha! Walked right into that one, yes, he did.”
Ilona Andrews, Magic Strikes

8. “Love: a single word, a wispy thing, a word no bigger or longer than an edge. That's what it is: an edge; a razor. It draws up through the center of your life, cutting everything in two. Before and after. The rest of the world falls away on either side.”
Lauren Oliver, Delirium

9. “You’re not going to take advantage of me, are you?” The cushions felt so nice behind her head. It was so nice to lie down. “Novels are always warning young women of the dangers of being taken advantage of by wealthy young men.”
“You are perfectly safe. Emily is here to protect your virtue.”
“That’s too bad.”
Kady Cross, The Girl in the Steel Corset

10. “One must always be careful of books," said Tessa, "and what is inside them, for words have the power to change us.”
Cassandra Clare, Clockwork Angel

Have a great Tuesday everyone!!

My new books this week are only 2, but for me 2 are a lot. Really! Sometimes I see some followers with more than 5 books and I think, is it your birthday every week? :D Not that I am jealous. You all deserve such a great haul.

Okay, here are my books.

Clockwork Princess. <3 Love it. Can't wait to read it. But I am, again, reading the first two in the serie. So I would wait to read this one. And I can tell you, I almost can't wait. LOL.

And here is another book. It was trade with Mishma and I totally forgot about the trade, so I will send her book as soon as possible.

Defiance

A few minutes ago I got some more books (from trading with Christine) and I couldn't wait till next week to show them to you, so here is a picture.

Hope you got some great books this week.
Have a great weekend and happy reading!!
